Meet Kat & Ryan

Down the rabbit hole, together.

Eat Me Drink Me is run by Kat and Ryan.

Kat started out as a teacher, became a youth worker and went on to run community cafés. Eat Me Drink Me brings all of that together: proper coffee, home-style food and a warm welcome, in a little corner of Monmouth with a lot of character.

Just four weeks after opening, our kitchen was awarded the top food hygiene rating – 5, very good.

This café is about more than coffee. It’s a place to meet, to get help with something, or simply to be around people. However you arrive, you’re welcome.

Local theatre, outdoor cinema, clubs and good causes – our Community Corner board is the place to find out what’s happening in town.

Running something local? Bring your poster in and we’ll find it a spot.

Space hire

Hire the café for your evening.

When our doors close for the day, the café can be yours. We’re happy to host groups in the evening – meetings, workshops, classes, clubs, talks and get-togethers.

  1. Tell us what you’re planning – your group, the date and roughly how many of you.
  2. We’ll talk it through – timings, layout, and any food or drinks you’d like.
  3. We’ll confirm it – with enough notice for us to get everything ready.

Evening hire is by arrangement and needs a little notice. Private parties on Sundays too.
